AFHNA, a non-profit professional organization, was created by a group of Registered Nurses working as Adult Family Home (AFH) providers, consultants and placement specialists in and with AFHs in the Puget Sound Area.  We share an ardent advocacy for the Patient/Resident and believe that in most situations, the Adult Family Home is the preferred living situation for those needing long-term care.  We believe that a professional nursing organization is a great platform to enhance quality, promote professionalism, and generate ideas while combining resources and talents in support of the AFH community.  Come join our efforts.
