Current ProjectsCEU Planning: Our goal is to offer 3 CEUs at each of our 4 business meetings per year. Membership Drive: We are interested in having RNs and LPNs who work in the Adult Family Home (AFH) world to join us in our efforts in making a positive impact, that will in the end, increase the quality of care for the residents of AFHs. POLST/CPR Policy: We are on a task force that is working to clarify Part A of the POLST to LTC facilities in Washington State. This involves feedback on policy and developing standardized curriculum which will be available on the DSHS site. Transfer/Discharge Work Group: The goal is to improve the resident discharge and transfer process into AFHs from other healthcare facilities to improve quality and continuity of care. AFHC Conference: We strive to present 2-3 presentations at the Fall AFHC conferences every year. Cookbook: AFHNA is working on producing an Adult Family Home Cookbook!
